World Famous Lover movie review: I would prefer if the movie was actually a book...

The story of this movie is so simple when you break it down: Gautham and Yamini have been in a live-in relationship for nearly a year and a half. (Gautham quit his job to work on his passion, writing). Yamini starts to realize that she's being treated like an object, and that Gautham just lives like a dead man all day without even putting a pen to paper. She finally decides to call it quits on their relationship, and literally walks out. With this Arjun Reddy-level anger, Gautham starts to furiously write a story from the depths of his angry lil' soul. This story is the story between Srinu and Suvarna.

THIS IS THE BEST PART OF THE MOVIE mainly because of AISHWARYA RAJESH, who I personally think delivered AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE.

Once that story is over, Gautham learns that Srinu didn't compromise his "love" with Smita, or his great studies. Suvarna did. She gave up her education and life just to be the stereotypical housewife that everyone wanted her to be (until she realized that she should be who she wants.) This is where we learn that Gautham is realizing his mistake. He then goes to find Yamini, and in that process, Gautham starts another story, which is about how he imagined his life would be if he just took the offer to go to Paris rather than quitting his job. He meets Iza (Izabelle Leite), and they fall in love. One day, they meet with an accident, and Gautham gives his eyes to Iza, showing that there are always compromises in love.

There were many issues in this movie, and the lack of a fully-developed story is just one piece of the incomplete puzzle.

I realized that sounds weird, but it sounds sophisticated.

The main story was about Yamini and Gautham, but we got more from the mini-stories than the actual story the movie was supposed to be about. In fact, the whole movie could have been just Srinu and Suvarna's story. It might have actually done better at the box office if it had been just that.

Maybe, if the main story was more solid, and had more to it than what it was, it could have viewed better, but for now, this movie is seen just as a twisted, flimsy version of Vijay Devarakonda's hit movie, Arjun Reddy.
